Mount Hood 胡德雪山
Mount Hood is the highest mountain in Oregon (11,245 feet/3,427 meters). According to National Geographic, it’s the second most climbed mountain in the world, after Japan’s Mount Fuji. The mountain is visible from many parts of Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington County.
Mt. Hood is only 90 minutes from Portland, and a visit offers a huge variety of outdoor activities: hiking, camping, mountain biking, kayaking, and skiing.

In the Winter season, one of my favorite trips to the mountain includes cross-country skiing at Teacup Lake Nordic. The groomed trails and warming hut are a wonderful way to enjoy the day after a big snowstorm!
